Mandy's Story
Meet Mandy - a sweet and gentle soul looking for a safe, loving place to truly blossom into the playful and curious kitten she's meant to be.

Mandy may be shy at first, but her curiosity and playful side are always waiting just beneath the surface. She especially enjoys chasing wand toys, which help bring out her confidence and spark her inner kitten. Mandy would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly cat who can show her the joys of being a pampered pet and help her feel at ease.

With a patient, loving family and a furry mentor to show her the ropes, Mandy is sure to continue growing into a wonderful companion and loyal little sidekick.

When meeting Mandy, you will notice that she can be endearingly clumsy at times!
Mandy likely has a condition known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Kittens with CH have a normal life expectancy and do not need treatment/medication. This disease is caused by infection by panleukopenia virus early in life. Severity of symptoms can vary but for Mandy, her symptoms are relatively mild. She is able to stand, walk, play, and use the litterbox. She is mostly a normal kitten, but you may notice that her head bobs or "tremors" when she is eating, drinking, or focusing on playing.

Will you be the one to teach Mandy what a wonderful world this can be?

Come meet her in person during our adoption hours, or reach out to info@ahconnects.org or call 847-697-2880 x: 0.
