Mama Tux's Story

Mama Tux & Lil’ J – Need Retirement Home or Sanctuary

Mama Tux & Lil’ J are BFF ferals who have been fed for about 9 years by FCWs. They have been living in a colony of many cats in Roxbury for years. Mama Tux & Lil’ J are the last two remaining ferals that we feed daily at this particular site. We are looking to bring them in before winter as we don’t think they will be able to survive another cold winter.

We need a sanctuary or someone willing to adopt two ferals (AKA house spirits). They are looking for a safe place to retire either together or separately as they are not bonded. They will be vetted prior to adoption. (Please note that BFF does not make moves like this lightly because we prefer to leave ferals "home" where they feel comfortable and safe - but we don’t want them to suffer through another winter season at their age.)

If you are interested in adopting them, please contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

Our Mission
Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed...
