Mama Rae's Story

<p>Mama Rae came to us after being rescued as a stray with her three young kittens. Two of her babies have already found homes, and now Mama Rae and her remaining daughter, Luka, are ready to find their happily ever after.</p><br/><br/><p>This sweet girl is as gentle as they come. Mama Rae has a calm, laid-back personality and takes life in strideshe's not easily fazed and prefers a peaceful environment. She'll happily greet her foster mom when she comes into the room and enjoys soft pets and quiet companionship.</p><br/><br/><p>Mama Rae loves lounging on her cat tree, watching the world go by outside the window. While she'll occasionally bat at a toy or join in with a wand toy, she's perfectly content letting her playful kitten take center stage. Her absolute favorite things? Squeeze-up treats and her nightly canned food "treat"the way to her heart!</p><br/><br/><p>Mama Rae is FIV positive, but that doesn't define her or slow her down. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, normal lives with proper care. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, so she can safely live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats.
