* Posie is one of our special Colony Cats! *<br/><br/>Mama Posie is a sweet, shy girl who is taking her time to warm up to people. She is currently available for meet and greets in the shelter. Here is a little bio from her foster mom:<br/><br/>"She is nervous around humans but is slowly learning to accept, and even enjoy, pets. Food seems to be a big motivator for her so it will go a long way in getting her to come out of her shell.<br/><br/>She hasn't tried swatting or biting at all but will give a warning hiss if her space feels invaded. She currently accepts pets as long as I am wearing a sock over my hand. She still isn't entirely comfortable with a bare hand but is warming up to the idea that it won't hurt her.<br/><br/>She will need someone who is patient and willing to take it slow with her as she is still learning to trust. She has been a perfect little house guest, using her litter box and keeping her space relatively clean. She is a quiet little lady who I believe, in time, could become a cuddly little lap cat."
