Mama Mazel's Story
Mama Mazel, or mama for short, has been an amazingly affectionate girl who raised 3 beautiful children! Always caring for them she didn't ask for anything and stayed in the background giving all to her kittens. All of her babies got adopted out and it is her turn! She knows it too as she is now coming out and interacting with us so much more, no longer a wall flower busy with carrying for a litter, she is now starting her well deserved retirement!

Some things she's been able to communicate to us since the adoption of her last kitten:
1. She doesn't want to be surrounded by other animals. She loves her people but other grown animals around her stress her out a bit or make her go back into her shell.
2. Mazel is very affectionate but also she asks that no one tower over her. She loves to come out and spend time with her people but she won't tolerate being forced into it out of the blue. In other words she'll run if someone comes at her fast, she takes her time to get aquianted to new smells, but she will be by your side otherwise for every movie or work session.
3. Food wise she is down for pretty much anything. We've been feeding her lots of kitten food to get her weight back up (nursing moms tend to run low). She is now feeling really healthy and is no longer lactating (although her kittens were really getting spoiled there towards the end by nursing at 4 months of age). Her tummy almost grew all its fur back after the spay. She is currently having kibble and wet food but has been known to enjoy a bite of rotisserie chicken as a treat.

She is an easy going girl looking for an easy going household. Her favorites are window perches, couch or papers to cuddle on, and being next to her person. She might meow a few times here and there but otherwise is not a chatty girl. She likes being offerred a place to hide as an option and has never had any health issues. Her approximate age is 1 to 2 years old and off of how affectionate she is and where she was suddenly located we assume owner abandonment once she had kittens. She now has a microchip, and vaccinations.

To meet her send us a message and let us know a little bit about yourself and your pet history/journey. We begin by scheduling a meet and greet first to see if this is a match.

I write this as she is cuddling up next to me, belly up and rolling, running her head into my hand and occasionally giving a very gentle lovebite to say "Hi, pet me!". Note she won't come out immediately during the visit as she takes a few minutes to access a new human.
