Mama Maude's Story

Mama Maude (DOB 7/27/2024) is ready for immediate adoption!

Named after The Big Lebowski's eccentric artist, intellectual, and woman who famously declared, "The word itself makes some men uncomfortable. Vagina, our Maude certainly has opinions of her own. However, she delivers them with the occasional chirp rather than a philosophical lecture.

Unlike her cinematic namesake, she isn't going to swing through your house naked while splatter-painting a masterpiece. Her preferred form of art is dramatically flopping over so you'll rub her belly, leaning into your hand for "just one more" scratch, and turning every couch into her personal gallery. Calm, friendly, and endlessly tolerant, Maude is the kind of cat who happily accepts whatever affection you have to offer. Want to pick her up? Great. Carry her around? That's fine too. Spend twenty uninterrupted minutes petting her? Now you're speaking her language. She isn't especially chatty, but she makes sure her thoughts are heard with the occasional comment when she feels you've stopped petting her a bit too soon.

Like her namesake, Maude is confident, self-assured, and knows exactly what she wants. Fortunately for you, what she wants is remarkably simple: a cozy home, a comfy spot beside her favorite humans, and an endless supply of affection. As The Dude might say, "Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man", Maude respectfully disagrees—she believes your hands belong on her at all times, and frankly... She's probably right.

Mama Maude is spayed and vaccinated. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She also has a pre-registered microchip.
