She was rescued while living in an apartment community with her babies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. Now that she’s in a loving foster home, her personality has absolutely bloomed.<br/><br/>Mama is the definition of a devoted mother — attentive, gentle, and always checking on her kittens. And when she’s not in “mom mode,” she’s a total sweetheart. She’s talkative, affectionate, and so fun to have around. This girl loves to play — especially with other cats — and she keeps up easily with our high-energy dog and school-age kids.<br/><br/>Because of her past, Mama still has a little “forager” instinct and will happily investigate the pantry or look for snacks if given the chance. She’s also a bit of an escape artist at the door — not to run away, but because she remembers life on her own.
