Mama's Story

So she was living behind a bar off a major highway with her kittens. The owner was feeding them and provided a small shelter for them in the winter. Her one ear is a bit deformed and flat to her head. We think it may have gotten frostbite at some point. We weren't sure how she would be once trapped and spayed, but after a few months she is ready for adoption. She really has turned out to be quite the sweetheart. She is still a little shy and wary but is doing great indoors. When it's feeding time she will go around to the other cats and rub up against them and give them little head butts. When you pick her up she'll rub her head under your chin! I would say it will take her awhile to fit into her new environment. So a little patience will be required. She's such a pretty girl and we're so proud of her for the way she has adapted to indoor life!
