Mama Bear's Story
Meet Mama Bear, a beautiful little panther with the sweetest soul. Mama Bear was rescued from a colony a few months ago when she was only about 8 months old—and already pregnant. She soon welcomed a litter of kittens, and after being the best mama, all of her babies have now found their forever families. Now, it’s finally Mama Bear’s turn.

Mama Bear can be a little shy when she first enters a new environment, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. She absolutely adores pets, attention, and being loved on. She has been around kids and would likely do well with both dogs and other cats with a slow, patient introduction.

With her sleek black coat and gorgeous yellow eyes, she looks just like a tiny panther, but underneath that beautiful exterior is a gentle, loving girl who deserves a family of her very own.

After spending her first year of life becoming a mama, she’s finally getting the chance to just be a cat again. Now that her kittens are grown and have found their families, Mama Bear is acting like a kitten herself again—playful, curious, affectionate, and ready to enjoy all the fun and love she missed out on.
She spent her first year caring for her babies. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. She deserves a life filled with love, cozy naps, head scratches, playtime, and a forever home where she can finally be spoiled.

Could that be your home?

If you would like to meet Mama Bear, apply to adopt online.
www.elkgrovecatrescuegroup.com
