Mama (AKA Mamaccino)'s Story
Meet (Mama) aka Mamaccino (born 12/1/23)— gentle, sweet, and learning to love life indoors
About her:
Mamaccino had her kittens on the streets and has been learning the comforts of a loving home. She adores sunny windows, naps in planter boxes, and soft perches. She’s affectionate and has the cutest little meow — once she trusts you, she’s the most tender companion but still timid.

Mama’s personality & habits:
Mama takes a little extra time to adjust, but when she’s comfortable she is unbelievably soft and loving. She loves sleeping by your pillow at night, watching the world from a window, and settling into a planter if there’s room. She greets mealtime with the cutest little meows and will happily bat at crinkled balls and roll after toys—especially anything with catnip. When she’s ready, she will offer lovely, gentle pets and will sleep close by your bedside.

Care basics:
Meals: 2x/day — we mix 2 scoops dry + a forkful of wet onto a plate; fresh water with each meal.
Catnip: A pinch on a plush toy 2x/week and/or catnip toys.
Litter: Prefers an open deep-style litter box, Arm & Hammer clay — multi-cat.
She can be easily spooked and appreciates slow, predictable interactions and choice — letting her approach you on her terms helps build trust.
Adoption note:
Mama can be adopted on her own, but we would absolutely love to keep this family together if a calm home can take mom + the bonded pair. She does best with patient people who’ll allow her to come out at her own pace and continue the predictable routine that’s helping her blossom.

Backstory
These three sweet cats are looking for a calm, relaxed forever home where they can soak up sunny window spots, lounge in planter boxes, and climb cozy cat trees. Mama had her kittens on the streets and, about six months ago, we brought the kittens inside and began teaching the whole family what a loving home looks like. Over the past 6+ months they’ve learned to trust people, enjoy affection and play, and they show the sweetest personalities. They can still spook easily (that’s understandable given their start), but they’ve been learning quickly — they come back when called and are consistently showing that people = safe, food, and fun.

If you are interested in this beauty or any of our other angels, you can complete an adoption application online at:

https://kittenangels.org/adopt-3/

Please indicate on the adoption application that you are interested in Mama fostered by Dusty.

Please note, fosters do get final approval for any adoption as they are most familiar with the personalities of their foster kittens and cats.

Kitten Angels is a non profit, volunteer organization. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $175.00 must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
