Mama's Story

Mama needs a quiet home with a true cat lover. Here's why: SAD RESCUE STORY . . . This sweet & petite calico was rescued but then mistreated . . . long story. The person who was supposed to help Mama and her 4 babies merely warehoused all 5 of them in 1 cage. They were fed every 3 days but not enough for 5 cats in 1 cage, and their sole litter box they all shared was never scooped but only dumped every 3 weeks (the ammonia smelled burned our eyes during the rescue). The babies grew into adults during their one year in captivity and Mama was very sad until we were able to truly rescue her. With very little human interaction and no TLC during that one year, Mama is still a little shy but doing much better enjoying her freedom in her foster home with other cats and responsible caretakers.
