Maluma is a 2 year old gentleman who is looking for his home for the paw-lidays! This playful cutie loves zooming around with his toys and keeping a smile on your face. He is sure to be your center of attention, charming everyone he meets! Maluma is a sociable and gentle boy would love a home where filled with snuggles, a big litter box (yes, he has a little extra fluff and that was on his list) cheek scratches and treats. Speaking of treats, he is a master at tricking you into extra snacks and kibbles and will happily second dinner three times (prompting a need for keeping track of mealtimes). He will do well in just about any home who is looking for an equally loving and independent fur kiddo! He has not been tested with other pets. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

We ask all potential adopters to complete an adoption application. A veterinary reference and proof of home ownership OR landlords approval is required. After everything rescue cats have been through, our top priority is placing them into the best matched forever homes. We treat each cat as an individual and assess potential adopters based on that cat’s needs.
