Yes

- Location: Columbus, OH

- Energy level (high/med/low)? med

Meet Mallory! She had been dumped in German Village as an 7-8 month old kitten and was rescued before it got incredibly hot outside in June. Mallory is a sweet and incredibly smart tortie who loves people and cats alike. She is a cuddle bug in the making, wanting to sleep near (and sometimes on) her favorite people. She knows her name and will greet you with a trill when you enter the room or come home. She will also follow you around the house as your personal second shadow. While she's not food motivated, she just wants to be a good girl and love on you, so she's usually not up to too much mischief. Some of her favorite toys include springs and automatic wands, but most of all, she LOVES bouncy balls with tails and will play with them for hours, dropping them down stairs or bringing it to the tub to bat/bounce around. She loves her window time and spying on the outside. She enjoys accompanying you to the toilet and watching the water fill back up in the bowl - she's been known to run to the bathroom when she hears the toilet flush!

Mallory gets along well with other cats, but prefers kitties with a more laid back personality. She is incredibly sweet and lacks the usual spicy “tortitude” but definitely has the opinionated tortitude attitude. She is a confident kitty who knows what she wants in the world!

Mallory is ready for adoption and has had all her vaccines/boosters and has been spayed/microchipped. She has lots of love to give and is excited to meet her new parents!

Speak for the Unspoken's Adoption Policy
Before completing our online application please read the following: Our adoption process involves multiple steps and it typically takes up to 2 weeks from the time we receive your application to the time your adoption is finalized. We reserve the right to deny any application without explanation. All of our dogs and/or puppies are in foster homes. We do not schedule “Meet and Greets” without an approved application. Our Adoption Fees start at $325 per dog, $75 per cat or kitten. We can adopt an animal ‘out of state’, but you must be willing to travel to where the pet is being fostered, and transport the animal yourself after the adoption. If you have other animals (dogs/cats) in your home, they must be up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention (dogs), and spayed/neutered. We will verify this with your veterinarian. If your animals are not up to date, your application will be denied. Please make sure to fully complete your application; leaving questions blank or not including all requested information will delay your application. Once your online application is submitted, it can take our volunteers 5 to 7 business days to process it. If we have questions about your application, we will email you. Please make sure to add our email, adopt@speakfortheunspoken.com to your email so our messages do not end up in your spam folder! Once your application is approved by the processors, it is sent to the person fostering the dog you have applied for. They will make the decision on whether the animal that you applied for is the right fit for you and your home. They may also choose to initially contact you via email or phone. If you do not respond promptly to their email or phone call, they will move on to the next applicant. Your application will be saved on file for 1 year and will be used for all dogs you would be interested in that time-frame. No need to keep filling out applications! Adoption application approval means you are approved to adopt an animal from us, it does not mean you are necessarily approved for the animal you applied for. There may be specific circumstances in your home that do not make it a good fit for one animal, but it may be a fine fit for another.
