Maleficent is residing at The PURRfect Match, our new cat adoption center in Andover. She'll be hanging out there entertaining visitors, greeting guests, playing with many other adoptable feline friends and trying to steal some tasty treats. Please stop in and meet Maleficent and the other adoptable kitties at 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover. Please make every effort to meet Maleficient prior to completing an adoption application. Thank you. Meet Maleficent – the friendliest “villain” you'll ever love. Don't let the name fool you—this Maleficent is all sugar, spice, and everything nice. With her sleek all-black coat and striking golden eyes, she may look a little mysterious... but the moment she flops over for one of her signature belly-rolls, you'll see the real magic she brings: pure charm, affection, and playfulness. Maleficent is a total sweetheart who adores attention and makes fast friends with her fellow feline residents at The PURRfect Match. She's got personality for days and a heart big enough to wrap around an entire family. It breaks our hearts to think that this darling girl almost didn't get her chance—another shelter considered releasing her back into the wild. And now, she worries that being a black cat might mean waiting longer for someone to choose her. But Maleficent knows there's a home out there where she can finally be loved for the wonderful, whimsical, and wildly affectionate cat she is. Will you be the one to turn her fairy tale ending into a reality? Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
