Maisie

Maisie was adopted when she was six weeks old. She has been with her mom for three years. Unfortunately, she has grown very large! And, her mom has other cats, so she is unable to put Maisie on a diet. So, she has made the extremely hard decision to adopt Maisie out (or find a foster for her), so that she has the best life she can have and someone will be able to get her on a diet and help her lose weight.<br/><br/>Maisie has had multiple urinary tract infections and because she is not able to groom her butt, it gets matted with feces and becomes very painful for her. The best solution is for her to lose weight, so she doesn't have to endure daily butt wipes, which are so painful for her. <br/><br/>Maisie is only three years old but acts like she is an old lady. She no longer plays and simply sleeps and eats. She has her whole life ahead of her. She needs help from someone who can take her and get her on a diet and make sure she can lose the weight she needs to lose so she can move forward to a healthy life. <br/><br/>Maisie is so sweet! She is gentle and loves to give kisses. She does not like to be held or cuddled but loves to be petted and again, will give kisses! She loves everyone she meets.
