Mags's Story
Way back in 2019, we had a little cat that came in with a big wound. We suspected she'd been picked up and dropped by an owl or other raptor, with serious injury to pelvis. We called her Coug, and she got a fancy trip to the surgical specialist for pelvic reconstructive plating and tail amputation.

She was happily adopted, and renamed Mags, but due to life changes her family is looking for a new home for her, a little quieter household with no small children. She's currently located in Idaho. Please contact her family directly if you are interested in helping her find a new home! mfarrell11@proton.me

Below is a message from her family: This is Maggie but we call her “Mags.” She is a spayed tabby/Siamese mix cat with strikingly blue eyes. She is approximately seven years old. She is extremely cuddly and loving—she will lay with you for a nap or crawl right up into your lap. Mags even shows affection to our large black lab by giving her kisses or taking a nap with her. Another side of Mags is spunky, playful, and silly as she has been known to get the kitty “zoomies” now and then. She will need to be an indoor cat since she was once picked up by a large bird. The incident left her without a tail and she has some hardware in her pelvis, but this has not slowed her down and you would never know it.

She currently lives with two small children. While they don’t bother her, the general noise level in the house has made her decide to stay upstairs hidden in a closet or under the bed. This is why we feel it best to rehome her so that she can enjoy her life to the fullest. If you think you have the perfect home for our beautiful cat, we’d love to hear from you!
