Magpie *adoption pending*'s Story
? Meet Magpie – Your Future Feline Bestie! ?
Say hello to Magpie (or Mags, if you're into nicknames) – a sweet, short-haired tuxedo beauty
who’s about 7-8 months old and ready to find her forever home! ?
Mags came to us from the amazing folks at One At A Time Rescue and Orphans of the North
in Manitoba, who made sure she had all her vet care covered and even sponsored her flight to
Ontario. We’re so grateful for their love and support in giving Magpie the fresh start she
deserves. ???
When Magpie first arrived at her foster home, she was shy and unsure – she didn’t even want to
leave her crate. But as soon as the resident cat came to say hello, something changed. She
stepped out, started exploring, and realized things weren’t so scary after all.
Now? She’s blossomed into a playful, affectionate little girl who loves her toys and seeks out
attention from her humans – complete with adorable little chirps to make sure you notice her. ?
Magpie is:
? Great with other cats ?
? Comfortable with a respectful child and even a large dog ?
? A total cuddle bug once she warms up
? An expert biscuit maker and loud purrer ?
? Perfect with her litter box ?
? A couch-snoozing queen ?
With a bit of patience and love, Magpie will become your loyal, purring sidekick if you’re looking
for a gentle, sweet companion who’s already mastered the art of cuddling,
Ideally a quieter home would probably suit her best, one with another friendly feline friend would
be lovely. Mags must be kept as an indoor cat as we want her to have a long and healthy,
happy life living inside being spoiled and loved.
Magpie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. She is a young cat and a
commitment of (hopefully) 15-20 years, so any adopters should consider this and be sure they
are able to fulfill this commitment to her care for the long haul.
Our adoption process includes an online application (see below), a zoom interview/home check,
reference checks and a meet and greet with Magpie in Oshawa. Her adoption fee is $250.
Please refer to our website for more information on our rescue (www.adoptadogsavealife.com)
? Currently in foster care in Oshawa and waiting for the right person or family to give her the
home she deserves.
