Magnolia's Story
Magnolia is a sweet and loving girl who has come a long way since arriving at the shelter as a scared stray. Once very shy and skinny, she’s now a social butterfly who loves to rub up against your legs for attention. While she’s not a fan of being picked up and held, she’ll happily climb into your lap on her own terms for some cozy snuggles. She is very food-motivated and absolutely loves her lickable treats! Her playful, affectionate nature is matched only by her love for tasty snacks. Magnolia doesn’t have any specific medical needs but would thrive in a calm, patient environment where she can continue to feel safe and loved. Magnolia came into the shelter as a scared stray along with her six older kittens, all of whom have since been adopted. Now it’s her turn to find a loving home where she can continue to blossom into the sweet, affectionate cat she is today. She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her independence, but also her loving side once she’s comfortable! She's been spayed, up to date on vaccines including boosters, rabies, tested negative for FelV/FIV and microchipped.

Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.
