MAGNET's Story

MAGNET - A fierce little survivor learning to trust, one brave step at a time!
D.O.B. 03/28/2026

Sibling of Crayon, Sharpie, Shredder & Stampy.

- Female
- Semi-Feral
- Calico
- Domestic Short Hair
- Spayed
- Microchipped & Dewormed
- FIV/FeLV Negative
- Vaccinated for Rabies & FVRCP (at appropriate age and weight; if adopted before this, vaccines are adopter’s responsibility)

Brought into the rescue as a stray, Magnet is a brave little survivor who is working hard on learning what it means to feel safe. She definitely earns her title as a "tough cookie," but she has already made some amazing progress!

When she first arrived, Magnet's instinct was to hiss at the sight of people. While she might still run off or back up, she has stopped hissing right off the bat, and she's learned to let you get closer to her body without tensing up. She is still quite cautious, and if you offer a hand with treats too close to her face, she might still defensively bat at you, so she requires a patient, understanding adopter who knows how to read cat body language and let a shy cat set her own pace. Her foster home has kids and a dog, and although she hasn’t wanted for them to touch her, she does enjoy curiously watching their antics from across the room.

Magnet is looking for a quiet home with someone who understands cats who need some socializing and is willing to give this deserving girl all the time, space, and gentle understanding she needs to truly blossom. Magnet does well with kitty companions, and requires a furry friend in her forever home. If you can offer that, please fill out an adoption application for this beautiful Magnet today!
