Maggie will be best as a barn cat and staff will be happy to answer all questions on acclimation suggestions/process. <br/><br/>Maggie, Female, 3 years old, 11 pounds <br/><br/>This sweet, sensitive cat is quietly waiting for someone special—the kind of person who understands that the best relationships take time. Shy at first, Maggie may prefer to observe from a cozy hiding spot until she feels safe, but with patience and gentle reassurance, her personality begins to shine! Maggie does have a request- no dogs please in her new home. <br/><br/>Once trust is earned, you’ll discover a loving companion who just wants to be loved!<br/><br/>For the person willing to give Maggie the time needed, the reward is truly special: a deep, heartfelt bond built on trust and love!<br/><br/>All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Cats over 3 months of age are microchipped and FIV/feline leukemia tested. <br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance and will be filled out at the shelter upon adoption. We want you to meet the purrrrfect feline for you and your lifestyle! FAPL is open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6:30pm. Sundays 12:00-3:00pm. Closed to the public Mondays. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>Upon adoption, all cats must go home in a carrier. You may bring one of your own or purchase one from FAPL for a small fee. Please remember, the carrier cannot be opened until safely within your home.
