Maggie's Story
Meet Maggie, a tiny and beautiful long-haired brown tabby born in 2024. Maggie was brought inside after living outdoors, and is now thriving with her new indoor lifestyle. She is a very small cat with beautiful patches of light and dark brown in her long, kitten-soft fur.

This young girl never fails to make her foster laugh. She loves to roll around on the ground, purring and stretching out her legs. Don't let her grumpy little face fool you - she is a very happy cat who loves affection and cannot get enough pets. She likes to be pet on her face, chin, back, and belly - as long as she is getting cuddles, she isn't picky. She isn’t much of a lap kitty though, and prefers not to be picked up.

Maggie is extremely playful, and is especially fond of her catnip toys. She is happy to play alone, but prefers if you will join in with her! She likes to chase around toy ribbons and will pounce and bat around any toys you toss her way. She would love to play with a cat friend, though her current kitty roommates are a bit shy and not much fun to play with.

Maggie is very interested in being friends with other cats, and would do best in a house with a social young cat to keep her company. She would ideally like to be adopted with her sister Gia, but failing that, would also be excited to meet her new best kitty friend!

Because of her time living outdoors, Maggie can be easily startled with sudden movements and loud noises, but is easily reassured before she gets right back at her silly antics. Although she has not spent any time around either dogs or children, because she is easily startled, she would likely do best in a household without young children or dogs.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada.
