Maggie's Story

Meet Maggie,

Maggie is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl. She can be shy and take some time to come out of her shell when she first meets you, but once she feels comfortable, she’s a very loving cat. She loves to brush up against people’s legs as they walk by and will absolutely demand affection if she thinks she’s not getting enough.

Maggie is a quiet, sleepy girl who likes to find a cozy hiding spot and come out when she’s ready for food or affection. She’s pretty shy around new people, loud noises, and other animals, and would prefer a calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. She has grown to tolerate my dog and cat, but she’s not particularly interested in interacting with them. I think she would be happiest as the only pet, although she might be able to coexist with a calm animal that respects her space.

Maggie has a short coat and should be relatively easy to groom, although she’ll benefit from occasional brushing. She had a few mats removed by a vet, and the fur is still growing back in those spots.

Maggie would do best with someone who understands that earning a shy cat’s trust takes time and is happy to let her set the pace. Give her a little patience and a quiet place to feel safe, and you’ll get to see the sweet, affectionate girl hiding beneath that shy exterior.

Maggie is a 3-5 year old spayed female cat with up to date shots
