Maestro's Story

Maestro is a handsome 1-year-old longhaired boy with a sweet, gentle personality. He’s low-energy and a little shy at first, so he may need some time to feel comfortable in a new home, but once he warms up, he enjoys being petted and spending quiet time with his people.

Maestro currently lives with several cats and dogs and does perfectly well with them, though his laid-back personality would probably be happiest in a quieter, calmer home. He has also previously lived with children. His long coat will need regular brushing to help prevent mats.

Maestro has a history of an issue affecting how food moves through his esophagus. Since switching to his current food, his symptoms have resolved and he has been doing very well and slowly gaining weight. His adopter should be committed to keeping him on his current diet and monitoring him for any changes, with veterinary follow-up as needed.

Maestro is an easygoing, low-key cat who just needs someone willing to give him a little time to settle in. Once he feels safe, he’s a very sweet boy to have around.
