Mae's Story
Mae is a friendly girl that came up to one of our members who was trapping in the bitter January cold. She demanded food! It took a couple of days trying to trap her, but now she is enjoying the warm indoors! She loves and seeks out pets and freely gives out purrs and makes biscuits on her human! She loves to lounge in her cat bed or on the cat tree and is very vocal, especially at meal time!

Mae does not care for the large dogs in her foster home. She may do ok with a small, calm dog who mostly leaves her alone. Mae is being bullied by a cat in her foster home. She may prefer to be an only cat. She does tolerate the other cats that leave her alone, she just prefers not to interact with them. Mae has not been around children, and will likely do better with children 10 years or older who understand cat behavior.

Because Mae is being bullied by the resident cat, she spends most of her time in a large dog crate for her own safety. :( She is looking for an adopter or new foster home ASAP. She is currently being fostered in Monroe.
