Madrina's Story

Madrina: Affection Is Available. Terms and Conditions Apply.

Madrina is a one-year-old cynic with a strong sense of personal boundaries and a weakness for Churus. She’s independent, low-maintenance, and operates on a strict kitty-minute budget (look it up). She enjoys feather toys and sitting in her perch silently questioning your life choices.

She’s not a fan of being picked up, but when she wants attention, she’ll wrap herself around your feet and attempt to trip you into providing a proper butt scratch. She’ll purr, headbutt you, make biscuits nearby, and vocalize her complaints when you’re not paying enough attention or, heaven forbid, have kitty-minute credits remaining that you aren’t using on her. Apparently, the customer complaint department is always open.

Madrina is looking for an experienced cat person who doesn’t need a Velcro cat or a lap warmer to feel loved. A quiet home where she has space, autonomy, and the freedom to set her own terms will suit her best. With patience, consistency, playtime, and a suspiciously generous Churu budget, we suspect lap privileges may eventually be granted.

She has plenty of love to give. It’s just not a subscription-free service.

The adoption fee includes FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

If youre interested in learning more about Madrina and giving her a forever home (and loads of treats), please email or text Mimi — Mimi@thezoeygroup.com / 206.565.8048.
