Madeline's Story

When a kitten was murdered in Harlem, we rushed to the site to remove any remaining animals. There we found Madeline, a one year old polydactyl (6 toes) tortie. Typical to tortie flair, she has sass, attitude, and underneath it -a total lap cat!! Madeline is playful, affectionate, and can be vocal at night when missing her people. She LOVES to be pet and adored. She also loves to hoard her toys away in her bed. She’s very enthusiastic when it comes to food and can be entertained for hours with a string toy. Madeline is best as an only kitty. She wants to be your one and only!!

Our Mission

We are a small group of rescuers in Central Harlem helping to vet and home abandoned and injured animals. We maintain several neighborhood cat colonies, providing food and water year round, as well as warm shelters in colder months.
