Madeline's Story

Madeline has had a bit of a rocky start at life, and sadly has been in and out of shelters as many people have given up on her. She did have a long stint in one home for many years, but unfortunately, they gave up on her too. She desperately craves a stable home that will love her forever. Madeline is very affectionate and wants to be the apple of your eye. She loves head bumps and her Friskies pate! While Madeline may do well in a home with other cats, she would probably prefer to be the only animal. She will let you brush her out gently - once she has enough trust in you.

Our Mission

Famous Fido works with overcrowded Chicago-area shelters to rescue adoptable dogs and cats that are at high risk of euthanasia, and to find them loving homes.
