Madeleine's Story

Madeleine came to us through the NB SPCA on July 16, 2026. She had lived in a very busy house, had become pregnant and had a massive open infected wound on her belly. Madeleine was born about April 26, 2025, so was only a little more than a year old.

Madeleine spent some time at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where she was spayed and her wound was bandaged and treated. This took several weeks to heal to a degree where she has only a small opening now - we will make sure that heals as well. Madeleine is happy to have a home where she is spoiled with lots of attention, and she has her very own room until she is fully up to date on her vaccines. She has been tested for FIV, FeLV and heartworm and only requires her booster vaccines and her belly to finish healing until she is ready to go to a home. She is grateful to the gentleman who made sure she has this second chance. She is now almost healed, much more healthy and definitely more happy! We will keep you up to date on this beautiful little girl!
