Maddie's Story

Maddie is a stunning all-black beauty with a silky medium-length coat and a quiet, gentle spirit. Shes the kind of cat who enjoys taking in the world from her favorite perch on top of her foster moms couch, happily observing everything happening both inside and outside the home.

Maddie gets along well with her feline foster siblings because she understands and appreciates personal spaceand she hopes her future family will too. She prefers the company of cats over dogs and is highly food motivated, which has been helpful as she continues building trust and confidence.

Affection with Maddie is on her terms, and thats part of what makes earning her trust so special. She enjoys gentle petting, sweet head bumps, and chin scratches, and shes excellent at communicating when she wants attention or when shed rather simply relax nearby and enjoy your company.

Maddies journey hasnt always been easy. She once lived with a family in Philadelphia before eventually ending up on the streets, where she survived for several years until a caring feeder noticed her and her foster mom brought her to safety. Since then, Maddie has been rediscovering what it means to feel secure and loved indoors againand she continues to make beautiful progress every day.

She was wonderfully behaved at the vet, calmly sitting on her foster moms lap and showing just how much trust shes learning to place in people again.

Maddie would thrive in a quieter home with respectful children ages 10+ or an adult-only household. If youre looking for a calm companion who values connection, companionship, and a peaceful environment, Maddie may be your perfect match.

Maddie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV. Shes ready to find her forever family and continue blossoming in a home of her own.
To learn more about this this beautiful girl, please email adopt@sarama.org or fill out our adoption form to set up a meet : https://forms.wix.com/f/7109896774155763874
