Maddie!'s Story

Meet Maddie, our master biscuit maker! She has been at the shelter for over 660 days now and we have no idea why! This beautiful girl wants nothing more than her own human who will give her all the cuddles she longs for. She loves playing with her feather string toy and chasing balls and the laser. Maddie struggled at the shelter and shied away from people. She was losing weight and had a continual upper respiratory infection. A year ago she went to a foster for individualized care and as you can see she has become a total cuddle bug! (Sound up to hear her awesome motor!!). Maddie has a compromised immune system and will continue to have upper respiratory symptoms from time to time. She needs a family willing to provide her a high-quality diet and to continue with her supplements to boost her immune system (this just means quality cat food and vitamins). There may be times when the symptoms get worse that she may need to be on antibiotics. With a little extra care and attention Maddie is a healthy, loving and playful kitty that would be a wonderful addition to someone’s family. She’s about 3 years old and very petite in size but so full of love and playfulnesses. She will do best in a home where her stress level can be kept at a minimum as this will help to minimize flare ups. Maddie is wonderful around other cats and kittens and would love to have a playmate! She does well with adults and children, and will make a great family member!
