Macy Gray's Story

Hi! I'm Macy Gray, but you can call me your Zombie Kitten Queen. 👑💙

I've been through some wild things in my young life--like, "went in for a TNR appointment and flatlined on the table" kind of wild. Yep. I had a sudden cardiac arrest during my spay, and they brought me back with some serious vet magic. I like to think I came back with extra sparkle. ✨

I'm a little over a year old now, and I've decided life is way too precious not to run full speed on my exercise wheel and then yell for snacks. I LOVE my wheel and if you adopt me, I'd really love to take it with me--it's kind of my thing. I'm also a total foodie. Wet food, dry food, mystery crumbs--if it's edible, I'm in.

Oh, and I'm visually impaired, potentially fully blind, but that hasn't slowed me down one bit. I've got a great sense of direction (and drama), and I zip around with total confidence. I'm still figuring out litter box habits--I do my business on puppy pads with a washable pad in my favorite spot or on my wheel--but we never say never in this house, I just need patience and understanding.

I'm talkative, sassy, and high-energy. I sometimes like toys and catnip, but my wheel is my fav. I'm hoping to find a forever home with kind humans who will see me not for what I lack, but for everything I am--sassy, quirky, and 100% unforgettable.

Wanna meet me? San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition's Adoption Policy
Although our primary mission is to work on feral cat issues, we devote considerable time to adopting out TAME kittens and adult cats. In order to better manage the feral cat population, friendly cats and kittens are removed from the streets, placed with fosters, and spay/neutered before placing them up for adoption. Young kittens born to feral cats are ideally left with their mom until they are ready for weaning. They are then placed in a foster home, socialized, and spayed/neutered prior to being put up for adoption. Our rescued tame cats are all privately fostered in homes throughout the San Antonio metro area.
