Hi... I'm Mack.<br/><br/>I'm a beautiful striped tabby with soft fur and an even softer heart. But not long ago, I almost didn't get the chance to tell my story. I was brought to an emergency vet to be put to sleep. My family loved me, but they couldn't afford the care I needed. Too many table scraps had made me sick, and I needed help. It wasn't anyone's dream ending... especially not mine.<br/><br/>But someone saw me. A vet tech with a huge heart looked into my eyes and decided my story wasn't over. They fixed me up, gave me the right food, and showed me what it feels like to be safe again. And guess what? I'm doing beautifully now! I'm healthy, comfortable, and full of life.<br/><br/>What I want most isn't fancy things. I just want to belong. I love chasing a ribbon wand and climbing to the highest perch so I can watch the world below. I'm confident and curious, but when the day winds down, all I really want is a warm lap and someone to pet me while I purr. I'll look up at you with grateful eyes to say, "Thank you for choosing me."<br/><br/>I would thrive in a home where I'm truly part of the family. I can live with a calm cat (with a slow introduction). I'd also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only-especially if you're home a lot to share love with me because I do get lonely.<br/><br/>I was almost a goodbye. Instead, I became a second chance. Now I'm just waiting for the person who will make sure I never have to wonder where I belong again.<br/><br/>Let's recap:<br/> No dogs<br/> Best with playful cats but needs a slow introduction<br/> Good with older, respectful kids.
