💫 Meet Machu Peachu- lover of all wand toys! 💫<br/><br/>Affectionately known as Peachu, this 2-year-old girl is as cute as they come. She has been settling in beautifully since arriving to Ten Lives, enjoying the pampered treatment now that she is living her best life as an indoor princess!<br/><br/>Peachu can be timid at first, but she is always open to getting some pets and can be won over with any wand toy. She's discovered toys and just loves engaging with them all now; small stuffed toys, ribbons, strings, anything on a wand, a mouse toy to toss around - she thinks they are the cat's meow! She has a fun personality that she's slowly letting come out, but she is also affectionate.<br/><br/>Peachu would do well with another cat in the home, but it wouldn't be required. She's very interested in meeting and playing with other cats and shows only curiosity. Ideally kids over the age of 12 who can understand her body language and respect her space as she warms up. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. <br/><br/>About Ten Lives:<br/><br/>Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. <br/><br/>Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! <br/><br/>All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
