Mac's Story
SNMGC (Single, Neutered, Male Ginger Chunk) Looking for Love!

Meet Mac — aka Macky-Mac, aka Mac & Cheese. This 2-year-old ginger boy is overflowing with love and ready to share it with his forever family.

Mac was found in Soddy Daisy by some kind-hearted friends who reached out to his foster mom. He was so friendly, personable, and affectionate that they knew he deserved a chance at a good home. At the time, he was skinny, underfed, and malnourished. His fur was patchy, and he had both an eye and ear infection. But after a quick trip to the vet, some medicine, plenty of nutritious food, and lots of love and attention — Mac is now a brand-new cat!

These days, he's a little chunky and a whole lot cuddly. He adores attention, warm laps, and snuggles. One of his favorite things is curling up with his foster mom (either in her lap or right beside her) to watch a good movie while soaking up pets. He’s also playful — chasing feather toys, jingly balls, and romping around with his foster sister. He loves lounging in his cat tree, gazing out the window at the birds.

Heads up — Mac’s a drooler! When he’s getting head scritches and affection, he drools like he’s about to dive into a steak dinner. He’ll even run up to you and place his paws on your chest to make petting easier. With just a few strokes, he’ll give you a look that says, “I’m in love.”

Mac gets along well with other cats and dogs, but he’ll need a slow introduction to help him adjust to his new home. If you think Mac might be your perfect match, please complete an adoption application here: https://www.scratchinc.org/adoption.
