Mac's Story

Mac is a beautiful black kitten with a curious, playful nature and a growing sense of confidence. When he first met his foster, he was a very unsure kitten — now, he allows gentle petting and even chooses to relax nearby, showing how much he opens up once he feels safe. Mac is shy when first meeting new people and will need time to adjust to a new environment, but his progress so far has been very encouraging.

Mac loves to explore and is especially playful. He throws his whole heart into playtime and is always ready to chase feather wands, bat around springs and fuzzy balls or race through cat tunnels. Play is his favorite way to engage and build confidence!

Mac gets along well with other cats and kittens and clearly enjoys their company. He does very well with his foster’s resident cats and loves learning from them, often watching closely and trying to follow their lead. He shares a close bond with his littermate, Carlie, and the two are often seen playing or settling near each other.

Mac would thrive in a home with a patient, understanding adopter who will let trust build at his own pace. A calm home without young children would be ideal, and he would especially love being adopted with Carlie or into a home with another friendly cat.
