Meet Mac — survivor, sweetheart, and professional lap cat.<br/><br/>Hi, I’m Mac.<br/><br/>After being abandoned, I spent my early days doing my best to survive on a golf course in Daly City. Life out there wasn’t easy, and it nearly ended when I was attacked by a coyote. But I’m tougher than I look. A kind human found me, got me the medical care I needed, and once I realized how nice indoor life could be... well, I never looked back.<br/><br/>When I was adopted, I was still a little cautious and unsure. But with love and patience, I blossomed into a pretty great companion (if I do say so myself). I’ll greet you at the door, rub against your legs, and happily curl up in your lap, purring away for hours.<br/><br/>I love to play—lasers, wand toys, anything with feathers—and I will come running the second I hear a treat bag. When I’m not playing, you can usually find me stretched out in a sunny spot or watching birds from the window. It’s the good life, and I’ve really grown to appreciate it.<br/><br/>Due to unforeseen life circumstances, I’ve made my way back and am once again looking for my forever home.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy in new situations, so I’d do best in a quiet home with a patient, loving human who can keep helping me build my confidence and feel safe.<br/><br/>Concerned about me being FIV+? Don’t be—there’s lots of helpful information out there to put your mind at ease. I can live a long, healthy life, meow. I’d be happy as your one and only, but I could also do well with the right feline friend.
