Lyla (bonded with Georgie)'s Story

DOB 5/19/25

🐾 Meet Your Gentle Little Girl Lyla
Hi… I’m a sweet, soft-hearted kitten who likes to take things a little slow. New places and people can make me a bit shy at first, but if you’re patient with me, I promise I’m worth the wait.
Once I feel safe, my playful side starts to shine! I absolutely love feather wands and little mouse toys—I’ll quietly stalk, pounce, and bat them around like a tiny hunter in training. It’s my favorite way to build confidence and have fun.
My favorite place in the whole world, though, is snuggled up next to my brother. He makes me feel brave, and together we make the coziest cuddle puddle you’ve ever seen. With time, love, and a calm home, I’ll happily share those cuddles with you too.

PLEASE READ:
Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.

Adoption Requirements

To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require:
• A completed adoption application
• A home visit

Apply here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat

Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
