No other kitty friends in the home, please.<br/>Lydia was abandoned outside when her family moved away and left her to fend for herself. That did not go well at all, as household cats cannot fend for themselves outside, alone, and this beautiful girl needs to be cared for like the diva she is.<br/>Lydia's foster home includes a 45lb dog which Lydia considers a close personal friend.<br/>While her exact age is unknown (due to being abandoned, we have no definite date), she sure has a lot of spunk and friskiness for a supposed 10 yr old kitty.<br/>Her fav toys are anything small that she can bat and chase across the hard flooring. Lydia loves a warm lap, napping on soft surfaces, and cardboard scratchers. She has the classic calico ‘cattitude', she will let you know when she's had enough pets and attention for a time.<br/>Lydia's tail was amputated in 2026, with no lingering health issues; she has the cutest little fluffy stump that she wriggles all the time.<br/><br/>OUT OF STATE/OUT OF AREA? ADOPTION INFORMATION Thank you for considering adopting your new fur buddy from CLAWS. Below is an overview of our adoption information. We recommend reading our FAQs if you have other questions. All cats and kittens are physically located in central Arkansas. We offer transport of our cats to the Northeast states (except MA) via professional, licensed pet transport company for an additional $70-$140 transport fee, which the adopter pays directly to the transport company at time of pick-up. We are unable to adopt to MA residents, at this time, as MA requires a 72hr hold and additional fees. ? Adoptions in AR are just $100. and includes full vetting. ?Adoption out of state are $175. - ($75. is for a USDA certified Health Certificate required by law to cross State lines) and includes full vetting: Spay/neuter, rabies vaccs, full set of kitten shots, testing for FIV/Felv, de-worm, 30-day flea treatment, and microchip. ?To make the best possible match for you & the pet, please complete the adoption request questionnaire. After your questionnaire has been processed, we'll be in contact. We cannot proceed without this form.
