Meet Lydia
They thought I was a senior cat, perhaps because I seemed sad. I’m only six. A joyful spirit is always young. Sigh. I don’t exactly feel “old,” but I’m not sure I’m “joyful” right now either. I’m Lydia – my name means “beautiful one,” and I’d like to think I am still beautiful. I’m a white and black female who came to Paws and Claws after my person died. I miss my person and my home, and now I find myself in a strange place. I’m a little shy, but I’m a very sweet gal who loves to be petted. I’m okay with being held too. I find comfort and pleasure in sitting quietly watching the birds. Sometimes I chatter a bit. Would you love a lovely lady like me? I’d like a quiet home where I can relax and watch the birds and be your sweet, gentle Lydia.
