Lune's Story

Meet Lune — A Survivor, a Supermom, and Your Future Best Friend.

Lune has an incredible story, and we can’t wait for you to meet this very special girl.

At just about 2 years old, Lune’s life took a heartbreaking turn when she found herself in a kill shelter in Texas shortly after giving birth to five beautiful kittens. She and her babies were just one hour away from being euthanized before they were rescued and transported to safety in Colorado. From there, Lune went into a loving foster home where she could decompress, care for her babies, and finally feel safe.

Through it all, Lune has been nothing short of amazing. She has been the most devoted mama, raising her five little ones with so much love and care. Now that her kittens are fully weaned, it’s finally Lune’s turn to be the one who is loved, cherished, and cared for. After everything she has been through, she deserves a home where she can simply be a cat and enjoy the beautiful life ahead of her.

So, what is Lune like? Think sweet, calm, loyal, and wonderfully chill. She has a lovely temperament and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, laid-back feline friend. Lune knows what she likes, too! She loves laps, enjoys running water, and can often be found happily sitting in the sink. Her water fountain will even go home with her adopter to keep one of her favorite things in her life!

Lune’s ideal home: Lune would thrive as the only pet in the home (unless she is with one of her babies). While she has been a wonderful mama to her own kittens, she does not enjoy the company of other cats and would be happiest having her people all to herself. She is looking for a home where she can feel safe, settled, and loved without having to share her space with other animals.

This beautiful girl has already given so much love to her babies. Now, it’s her turn to receive that same love in return. She has survived so much and is ready for a fresh start with someone who will cherish her for the rest of her life.

Could you be Lune’s person? The one who gives her a cozy lap, a sunny windowsill, fresh running water, and the unconditional love she has always deserved?

Lune is ready for her happily ever after. Maybe it’s with you.

For more information call Karen at 970-343-9474.
