Luna arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we are still learning about her. So far, she has been nothing but sweet and friendly with everyone she meets. She absolutely loves a good ear scratch-and once you start, she'll be sure to ask for more! Luna enjoys affection and would be thrilled to have a cozy lap to curl up in.<br/><br/>Because her history with other pets and children is unknown, slow and thoughtful introductions are recommended to help everyone feel comfortable.<br/><br/>Like most cats, Luna will thrive with a calm, loving environment and plenty of enrichment. A sturdy scratching post, fun interactive toys, and soft places to nap will help her settle into her new home. She does NOT need a prescription diet at this time, but regular vet care is strongly encouraged long-term.<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
