Luna's Story

Luna is a sweet, gentle girl who is still figuring out this whole people thing. She's a little shy and has taken some time to feel comfortable in her foster home, but she's making progress and we're really happy to see her confidence growing. Luna enjoys getting pets and loves to play once she's feeling comfortable. She does best when things are calm and she can take her time getting used to new people and new situations. She's not a big fan of being held just yet, but she's getting more comfortable with it and has come a long way since coming into foster care. She's also curious about the resident dog and likes watching her through the gate, although she can get a little nervous when the dog comes too close. A calm, respectful dog who will give her some space would probably be the best fit. Luna may need a little more time than some kittens to feel completely comfortable, but she's showing us more of her personality as the days go by. She's sweet, playful, and worth taking the time to get to know. We think Luna will do best with someone who understands that trust doesn't always happen overnight.

Luna needs to be adopted with one of her siblings (Orion, Nova, Apollo, Cosmo) or into a home with a resident kitty to be her friend.

If you are interested in making this kitty a part of your family please go to our website and fill out an application: https://felinefriendsofsammamish.org/adoptt-a-cat/adoption-process/
