Luna is a beautiful girl who has come such a long way since her surrender. While she’s not a lap cat, she does enjoy being near her people on her own terms—sometimes perching on the couch or headrest to soak up gentle pets. She loves head rubs, and one of her favorite routines is hopping onto her cat tree, meowing for attention, rolling around, and swatting playfully to let you know it’s time for cuddles. She’ll even allow sweet little head kisses! <br/><br/>That said, Luna also knows her limits—when she’s had enough affection, she’ll give a swat or hiss to let you know she’s done. She thrives best when her boundaries are respected and when she has her favorite cat tree to retreat to. When it comes to food, Luna is a Friskies fan through and through—she enjoys shredded wet food and Friskies dry. To keep mealtime calm (and Milo from stealing her dinner!), she’s learned to hop into her cat tree for her meals, showing just how smart she is.<br/><br/>Luna has a playful streak and loves chasing her wand toy with the fuzzy worm, leaping up with lots of energy to catch it. Because Milo wasn’t much of a playmate, Luna may thrive in a home with a friendly cat closer to her age—one who isn’t too dominant but can match her energy and maybe even teach her more about play. Luna can be shy with visitors and tends to hide under her cozy blanket-covered chair until things quiet down. With patience, love, some catnip and respect for her boundaries, she’ll blossom into a wonderfully affectionate companion who brings joy in her own unique way.
