Are you looking for the purrfect companion? Luna wants to be your gal! Luna has been waiting for a home for over 150 days. She has been in a foster home since May 12th and before that she was in a rural shelter. Her time was up there and she was going to be euthanized when Dolly's Legacy was contacted to help. We rescued Luna and have been patiently waiting for her to find her forever home!

Luna is a silly cat who loves to play. She'll entertain herself but if you are able to toss her favorite green toy around or even a shoe lace, she'll be your best friend! While Luna is playful, she is also very affectionate. She'll snuggle up and purr to let you know she loves you. Luna has lived with other cats and dogs and has done well. Most cats do not adjust as quickly as dogs to new animals and environments, so understand Luna might be nervous in her new home for the first few days. Please be patient and give her a little time and we promise she'll win your heart!

Luna is a Dilute Calico who weighs 8 lbs and is estimated at 10-12 months old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative FIV/FELV. Adoption fee is $100 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
