Lulu <-- Check out her video's Story
Lulu is an adorable baby girl born on or around 8/17/25.

When life gave Lulu lemons, she faced it with the energy and resilience of a tiny orphan tuxedo kitten. Lulu came to the Animal Shelter alone, with two broken legs at the age of 10 weeks and was picked up by a local foster home. After two surgeries on her legs, and after being spayed, she had enough of humans in gloves but did not lose her trust in good people. When it became clear that her right hind leg didn’t heal properly, she had to undergo an amputation. Being a tough cookie she is, she fully recovered and is back to the “new normal” on three legs, energetic and happy as before.

Lulu is a very active, playful, curious and incredibly smart kitten. She is truly a puppy trapped in a cat body – playing fetch is her favorite thing to do; her love language is licks and gentle nibbles. Luly loves running, watching squirrels, chasing moving objects and exploring things. She is brave, alert and can defend herself. She is comfortable around friendly cats and kittens, loves to cuddle once she is settled down, appreciates fluffy blankets to make “biscuits” and is a friend of any type of food – dry or canned.

Lulu is a highly intelligent, active, and alert cat with a curious and brave personality. She loves to explore, play, and stay engaged with her surroundings. A natural hunter at heart, Lulu enjoys interactive toys and activities that challenge her mind and instincts.

She is familiar and comfortable with other cats and kittens, as well as children. Lulu has not been exposed to dogs. She is accustomed to living indoors and enjoys spending time on screened patios.

Special Needs:
Lulu would benefit from extra attention to her joint and bone health, and regular veterinary checkups are highly recommended. Otherwise, she is fully independent with her daily activities, including litter box use, climbing, running, and jumping.

Lulu is microchipped, up to date on shots, and already spayed, so she's ready for her forever home! She's in a loving foster home waiting to be adopted.

If you are interested in adopting a TEARS kitty, please submit an online application at https://www.tearsofseminolecounty.org/cat-adoption-application.html
