Meet Lulu, a former mama cat from the Bronx who is now ready to find her own forever home. After raising a beautiful litter of kittens, Lulu is ready to relax, be pampered, and share all the love she has to offer. Lulu is one of the kindest, most agreeable cats you’ll ever meet. Lulu is an absolute gem—a gentle, big-hearted cat who takes everything in stride. Her calm, unflappable nature makes her the ideal companion, whether you're a first-time cat owner or have a bustling household with kids. She’s always ready to hang out, snuggle up, and offer her affection. When Lulu looks up at you with her big, soft eyes, you can practically feel her heart radiating love and gratitude. She’s a "mushy cuddle bug," and there’s nothing she loves more than curling up beside her humans, purring contentedly as you shower her with attention. Lulu is the type of cat companion who will loyally stick by your side through thick and thin. They are also litter box reliable and loving companions. To adopt, we require potential adopters to complete an application, provide basic references, and allow a video home tour to ensure a safe environment. An adoption fee is also required. We offer a two-week trial period to ensure the cat(s) is a good fit; if it doesn’t work out, we’ll retrieve the cat(s) and refund the adoption fee. We’re here to help with tips for introducing your new feline friend to other pets, if needed.

Bronx Tails Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

Adoption fee applies. No cash and carry. Indoor-only homes (screens on all windows). No declawing. Our adoption process is: Find a cat/kitten you like. Fill out an application. We check your references and will do a home visit to ensure a safe environment. An adoption fee is paid when the cat is delivered. We allow an up-to-two week trial period to make sure the cat is the right match for the adopter(s) (especially when there are other pets in the home). After two weeks, we finalize the adoption and deposit the fee. All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia, given FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, treated for flea eradication, and de-wormed. They are litterbox-reliable and are used to nail trimming. All of these things are included in the adoption fee. If the kitten is too young for surgery at the time of adoption, we will arrange for and take care of these procedures post-adoption; typically when the kitten is between 4-5 months of age.
