Luke Bryant's Story

If you'd like to meet Luke, please visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. Walk-in hours are also available on certain days of the week. www.ggohinc.com

Luke initially came to us as a colony cat who was getting into some trouble with other male cats due to not being neutered. Once here at GGOH, we immediately took care of that and he has been a perfect gentleman since. Full discloser, Luke was adopted shortly after arriving and unfortunately, returned several months later - we were told that a older child in the home wasn't very fond of Luke and the tension between the two was building to a level that it was uncomfortable for all. Since Luke has been back with us for a second time, he again, has been a perfect gentleman. No issues with any of the cats in his room here at GGOH, and no interactions with volunteers or visitors that raised any red flags. All we can say is that sometimes adoptions don't turn out as anticipated for no other reason than it just wasn't a good, healthy relationship for all involved. Again, Luke has shown no issues whatsoever here at our facility and we don't anticipate any going forward here, or with a new adoptive family.

Luke is a big boy but he is so gentle - it kind of surprises you just how gentle he is. He loves being talked to. He will engage in play. He gets along well with other cats and is often found snoozing away in a kitty pile. We like to call Luke our Gentle Giant. :)

Luke has an approx. DOB of 7/31/2023.
