Named after Luke Skywalker, he embodies the light side of the Force—friendly, hopeful, and always happy to see people. Luke will eagerly seek you out for attention, trotting over like he’s answering the call to adventure, just to make sure he gets his well-deserved pets and cuddles. Much like his legendary namesake, Luke believes strongly in connection and companionship. Page County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We require an application for every potential adopter. You can obtain an application by requesting one through email or stop by in person. If your application is approved, it is $50 to adopt cats and $60 for dogs. If the animal has not been altered before the adoption, $20 of the adoption fee will go towards their spay/neuter costs in the form of a deposit. Please note that we are unable to adopt out any animals to outside of the state of Virginia. Thank you again for your interest in our residents here at the Page County Animal Shelter!
