Hello everyone! My name is Luke and I am about 6 years old. I am such a handsome fella, don’t you think? I’m a bit timid when it comes to other humans and usually prefer some personal space, so my caretakers think I would thrive as an outdoor or barn cat. I would just need that special someone who is willing to give me a chance. Not to brag about how amazing I am, but I’ve also made a huge contribution to veterinary medicine by being a blood donor and have helped save many animal lives! Isn’t that awesome?! My caretakers think that it's about time that I lived out my retirement in a fur-ever home with my own special person or family. I am great with other cats so I should do very well if there are other resident cats in the home. I don’t have a history of living with dogs and/or little children, but based on my personality, my caretakers think that I would do best in a home without little children. I could potentially do well with a dog, but my caretakers are not certain. I have never really been a huge eater, so I may need to be monitored (if there are other animals in the home) to ensure I am eating enough to sustain my weight.
