LUCY - SWEET SHY KITTY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION's Story
Lucy, and her brother Lux, were rescued by a kind woman in the historic district of McKinney. Her area tends to have many outdoor cats and these kittens were born to a feral mom. Slowly they warmed up to her and just before the cold she was able to get them vetted and transferred to us for adoption. They do have the notched ear in case she had to turn them back outside, but fortunately they adjusted to handling and definitely need to belong to a loving home. Both cats have stunning shiny blue coats. They are both still shy and need a home that understands they need time to warm up, although as is typical, Lux (male) is a bit more adventurous than Lucy (female). When they are given time and acclimate, they are both so very sweet. There isn't an aggressive bone in their body and when scared, they actually freeze up instead of becoming aggressive. It's easy to trim their nails or medicate them because they hold still. They love to have the base of their tail scratched and Lucy loves to snuggle up in an armpit with her head covered and purr. They both have adorable chunky heads and are virtually indistinguishable from one another except Lucy is smaller. If interested in meeting Lucy and possibly adopting, go to furryfriendsanimalrescue.org and submit an application. You will be contacted within 24 hours (if not, please check your spam folder).

NOTE: Please do not apply for Lucy if you are allergic and seeking a Russian Blue for hypoallergenic reasons. Lucy is NOT a purebred Russian Blue and is NOT hypoallergenic.
